About the Club

Kurkowe Bractwo Strzeleckie w Starogardzie Gdańskim (KBS Starogard Gdański) is one of the oldest and most respected shooting associations in the Pomeranian region, fitting into the centuries-old tradition of Polish kurkowe bractwa. Founded with roots dating back to the 19th century, the club combines rich history with modern standards of shooting sports, offering shooting enthusiasts a unique place for training, competition, and skill development. Our headquarters is located in the heart of Starogard Gdański at ul. Brackiej 1, in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, and is under the patronage of WZSS Gdańsk (licencja LK-1129/2025).

Infrastructure and Equipment

The club features a modern shooting facility, including a covered 25-meter shooting range equipped with professional stations for shooters. We offer shooting with airguns, handguns and long guns (for holders of appropriate permits), as well as the use of historical rifles and pistols, which perfectly fits the tradition of kurkowe bractwa. Our facilities include equipment rental – from firearms to optics and protective accessories – making us accessible to both beginners and advanced shooters.

Training and Activities

We offer regular training under the supervision of certified instructors, courses for shooting licenses, and workshops on safety and shooting tactics. Activities at KBS Starogard Gdański are diverse and engaging: we organize internal competitions, regional tournaments, as well as annual kurkowe shootings with prizes, referring to ancient traditions. We participate in Polish and international championships, promoting shooting sports among youth and adults. Special training programs are available for club members, including preparation for firearm license exams. We are open to cooperation with other clubs and institutions, organizing themed events such as historical reconstructions or open days.
