About the Association
Stowarzyszenie Obronne Imienia Mieszka I, also known as SOM I Gliwice, is a dynamic center for sports and defensive shooting located in the heart of Gliwice, in the Silesian Voivodeship. Our club, registered under license number LK-1400/2025 and affiliated with WZSS Katowice, draws inspiration from the traditions of Polish weaponry, referring to the first historical ruler of Poland – Mieszka I. We are shooting enthusiasts who combine sports competition with education in the safe handling of firearms, promoting the values of self-defense and patriotism.
Shooting Facilities
In our club at Mazowiecka Street 16, you will find modern facilities, including indoor and outdoor shooting ranges adapted to various disciplines: from pistols, through rifles, to airguns.
